Thirteen songs run across the first three sides, and side D carries a screen print. The release marks the first time these songs have been issued on vinyl.

The set collects the three EPs Lili Trifilio made before Beach Bunny became a band: Animalism in 2015, Pool Party in 2016 and Crybaby in 2017. The project started in that first year as a bedroom recording of "6 Weeks," which follows the short "Intro" here, and side A is given over to the five Animalism songs. Shortly after Crybaby, Beach Bunny grew into a four-piece and released the Prom Queen EP in 2018.

The occasion is "July," the Pool Party song that sits sixth in this running order. Ahead of the song's tenth anniversary the band re-recorded it with the current lineup, released that new version in July 2026, and announced a separate 7-inch pairing both recordings.

Today Beach Bunny is Trifilio with bassist and lead guitarist Anthony Vaccaro and drummer Jon Alvarado. The label's notes credit the band with RIAA Platinum certifications for "Prom Queen" and "Cloud 9," a Gold certification for "Sports," and more than a billion Spotify streams, and note that the 2022 album Emotional Creature debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart. Honeymoon, the 2020 debut album on Mom + Pop, reached No. 2 on that same chart.

Tracklist

Side A

Intro

6 Weeks

Oozin

Greetings from California

Call Me Baby

Sides B and C

July

Deja Vu

Waves

Shoegazer

Ghost

February

Boys

Jenny

Side D

Screen print

UPC: 840526510641
Label: Alternate Side
Release Date: 8.28.26
Format: Vinyl

https://evergreenvinyl.com/products/beach-bunny-the-early-days-animalism-pool-party-crybaby-poseidon-green-vinyl
