In The Air Age on Harvest, catalogue SKB-11666: the live album on one LP, with a bonus three-track EP pressed as a separate 12-inch disc. All four sides carry the SKB SW-11666 matrix with the F-3 suffix, next to the stamped Mastered by Capitol credit.

Both records here are black vinyl; some US copies of SKB-11666 put the LP on white vinyl instead. The sides are sequenced across the two discs, so the LP holds sides A and D and the EP holds sides B and C. "Wally" is etched in the runout on sides B and D, the signature of Capitol Mastering lacquer cutter Wally Traugott. The picture sleeve uses stills from Fritz Lang's 1927 film Metropolis, front and back.

Album and pressing share a year: Harvest released the record in July 1977, and this American edition followed in the same year rather than as a later reissue.

Be Bop Deluxe recorded Live!
