The journalist and photographer Dave Hendley assembled it. This edition spreads the record across two LPs; Greensleeves describes the second disc as further cuts of the album's rhythms, put together with the approval of the original compilers, and announced the reissue with remastered sound.

The sessions were recorded at Channel One and Dynamic Sounds in Kingston and mixed at King Tubby's studio. Earl "Chinna" Smith plays guitar, Robbie Shakespeare and Aston Barrett play bass, Dillinger takes the vocal on "Brace A Boy," and Hugh Mundell appears as well. Pablo plays melodica throughout, and two of the tracks here, "Rockers Dub" and "Tubby's Dub Song," are the ones Greensleeves singles out from the set.

Pablo was born Horace Swaby in St. Andrew, Jamaica, in 1954 and died in 1999. He popularized the melodica in reggae and produced for Dillinger, Hugh Mundell, Jacob Miller, The Heptones and Junior Delgado, among others; his breakthrough, "Java," was made with Clive Chin.
