Southern Nights, the album Toussaint made for Reprise three years later, was one of the series' first titles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLife, Love and Faith first appeared in 1972. It was Toussaint's first album for Reprise Records, following more than a decade spent writing and producing hits for other artists. He wrote all twelve songs. Twenty-two musicians played on the sessions, among them a family member, Vincent Toussaint, on guitar, and three members of the Meters: guitarist Leo Nocentelli, bassist George Porter Jr. and drummer Joseph \"Zigaboo\" Modeliste.
