Its songs follow the history of flight, from the Daedalus and Icarus myth in "Too Close to the Sun" and Leonardo da Vinci's designs for a flying machine in "One Day to Fly" to the space race in "Apollo," which carries John F. Kennedy's speech of May 25, 1961. "Brother Up in Heaven" remembers guitarist Ian Bairnson's cousin, who died in 1994.

Bairnson, the Project's longtime guitarist, was the album's chief creative force. Lead vocals are shared among Eric Stewart, Neil Lockwood, Steve Overland, Christopher Cross and Graham Dye, and Andrew Powell arranged and conducted the orchestral parts. Parsons engineered and mixed the record himself.

Tracklist

Side A

Blue Blue Sky

Too Close To The Sun

Blown By The Wind

Cloudbreak

I Can't Look Down

Brother Up In Heaven

Side B

Fall Free

Apollo

So Far Away

One Day To Fly

Blue Blue Sky

UPC: 8719262019478
Label: Music On Vinyl
Release Date: 6.25.21
Format: Vinyl

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0718/8801/1422/files/3000x3000bb_3fd26445-2b27-46c7-bc82-598ccd2d9ba3.jpg?v=1791881451
