Guitarist Eric Erlandson remembered two oversized reels from Bob Ludwig's Gateway Mastering Studios in his storage locker and had taken them for digital backups. When he pulled them out, they turned out to be the analog mixes Ludwig had compiled to master the album in 1994. Erlandson's own account of the find is printed in the package.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOnly 3,000 numbered copies were made. The record comes in a heavyweight tip-on single-pocket gatefold jacket, housed in a DSS slipcase that carries the original artwork on the front, with the track listing and One-Step production details on the back. A newly created eight-page booklet comes with it, along with a certificate of authenticity that documents the mastering, plating and pressing chain. GPA Global printed the packaging. The series launched in fall 2025, and earlier titles include blink-182's Enema of the State and A Perfect Circle's Mer de Noms and Thirteenth Step.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLive Through This was Hole's second studio album, first issued by DGC in April 1994. It is the only Hole album with bassist Kristen Pfaff. It went platinum in the US in April 1995, and Interscope notes it spent more than a year on the Billboard 200.
